Multibeam Bathymetry and Sidescan Sonar Systems

The Reson T50-]P is operated in conjunction with an Applanix POS/MV Wavemaster to gather high-precision, high-]resolution bathymetric data. Due to its multiple frequency range capability, 200-]400kHZ, the T50-]P is useful in waters ranging from several meters to over 400 meters in depth. It is a compact system that can be deployed from any size vessel. The Wavemaster has a submersible IMU which improves reduction of motion data artifacts. The multibeam can operate on 24VDC or 100-]230VAC. Data can be acquired and processed through PDS or QINSy software packages. UTIG also uses Caris HIPS and SIPS bathymetric data processing.
