Seismic Project Information KPR0807
TAMAM

This 2008 R/V Koca Piri Reis survey of the Marmara Sea was a joint expedition between US and Turkish scientists, collecting over 2649 km of MCS reflection and 3.5 kHz Chirp data for the Turkish-American Marmara Multichannel Project (TAMAM). In 2010, a companion cruise collected additional data. The primary goal of this project was to acquire a high-resolution seismic dataset that could be used to make stratigraphic correlations within and between subbasins in the Marmara Sea and to image shallow structures.

For processed data, UTM navigation (zone 35N) is in bytes 73 and 77 and 81 and 85.
