Seismic Project Information EN546
Eastern North America Community Seismic Experiment

This 2014 R/V Endeavor survey collected OBS data off North Carolina and Virginia while the R/V Langseth (MGL1408) collected MCS data. The goal was to collect data to image geological structures beneath the seafloor to learn about the evolution of continental margins and their geohazards.

2015-05-15: Data center has updated data (unique ID's ar56.2001 through ar56.2581) with relocated instrument coordinates (doi: 10.1594/IEDA/500017).
2014-12-02: Data center has preliminary data (doi: 10.1594/IEDA/500014) only. No seismic section images have been made of the SEG-Y files. SEG-Y files with line names hyd (hydrophone), l28x or l28y (horizontal geophone), or l28z (vertical geophone) contain all the data for the respective channels. The navigation for these files is not shown on the map.
