Seismic Project Information EW9903
Guatemala ODP Site Survey

This was an ODP site survey in the south-central Cocos Plate region, an area of super-fast spreading rates. The purpose was to obtain high-resolution multi-channel seismic reflection and ocean-bottom hydrophone seismic refraction data to detail the structure of the upper oceanic crust.

Two IVS Fledermaus visualization scenes (MCS Grid 3: ODP_SFSC_Grid3.scene (45.1 MB) and MCS Grids 2 & 3 select profiles (reverse color): ODP_SFSC_Grid2.3.scene (102.6 MB) provided by G. Kent) are available for viewing (Download free viewer). Click here for a PDF view of the Grid 3 scene in Fledermaus.
