File cvtf(p,w).st.tab contains a list of times when PSE commands were received by Apollo station st. File cvtp is frim PSE tape files and cptw is from work tape files. On each line of the list, columns 1-4: time, in year, day of the year, hour-minute, and second, of the frame in which a PSE command appears in ALSEP command verification word column 5: flag, which is set to * when software clock is used or the time string is suspected to be in error; otherwise it is set to - columns 6-7: PSE command number and message acceptance pulse (MAP) from the verification word column 8: flag, which is set when sync error is detected for the data frame in which the command verification appears, suggesting that the command verification is suspected to be incorrect columns 9-12: location of the data on tape files, given in tape, file, physical record and logical record numbers. (Tape number 13 for PSE tapes referrs to P & E Supplement tape.) PSE command numbers (decimal command code, bits 3-9 of command verification word, in parentheses) are as follows: 1 (51): gain change for LPX & LPY 2 (52): gain change for LPZ 3 (53): calibration on/off for SP 4 (54): calibration on/off for LP 5 (55): gain change for SPZ 6 (56): leveling power X motor on/off 7 (57): leveling power Y motor on/off 8 (58): leveling power Z motor on/off 9 (59): uncage arm/fire 10 (60): leveling direction plul/minus 11 (61): leveling speed low/high 12 (62): thermal control mode auto/manual 13 (65): feedback filter in/out 14 (66): coarse leveling sensor in/out 15 (67): leveling mode auto/manual MAP (bit 10 of command verification word) is set when an error check of received command is successful and the command has been acted upon. For example, the first line of file cvtp.12: 1969 323 1430 59.381 - 9 1 - 1 1 3 217 means that the time of the frame is 1969 day 323 14h:30m:59.381s, no flag set, command No. 9 (uncage arm/fire) has been acted upon, no fag set, and it is found on PSE tape 1, file 1, physical record 3, logical record 217.
