ASE05 ICE THICKNESS MODEL version 1.0 Wed Apr 12 21:27:41 CDT 2006 ASE05.lonlatthkbed is a table of latitude, longitude, all ice thickness and bed elevations + bathymetry with 5 km grid spacing. The binary grids ASE05icethk.bin and ASE05bedelv.bin are projected in Polar Stereographic with the latitude of true scale 71 degrees south. The limits (in meters) are -1800000/-900000/-900000/100000 and the cell size is 5000, using pixel registration. The grid values are 2-byte little endian integers arranged by row. The reference datum is WGS-84, and the bed elevations are created by subtracting the ASE05 grounded ice thickness model from J. Bamber's unpublished GLAS-ERS-1 Antarctic DEM, and marine bathymetry data from the WGS-84 sealevel. Please cite Vaughan et al.
